SimpliSafe APP security Issue

The app does not ask for PIN when the user wants to disarm the system while in Home or Away mode. User can simply hit the OFF button and disarm without a PIN. If the intruder knows this workflow of your app and he forces me at gunpoint to only disarm the system via the app, after the alarm goes off when he breaks in, there is no way for me to silently inform the base station of the emergency situation using the Duress PIN. Though I can put the Duress PIN via keypad when i disarm after an alarm event, intruder may not allow me to do that knowing I could put in the Duress PIN. These days the thieves are more informed about every aspect of all the security systems in the market and will sure know this issue with your app. 

The whole point of securing the home using simplisafe is beaten when there is this issue in your APP. I brought this up with your tech support team twice already.

This is a P1/Showstopper bug that needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY.

Agreed! I also think our full address should not be visible from the app as that causes security concerns as well.

Both are valid points but I would make them optional to the customer.
