Random Sensor Disconnect
Hello,
I am a new Simplisafe customer, and I am having issues with keypad, entry sensors and water sensors going offline randomly. Last night I had multiple failures with multiple sensors going offline in the middle of the night. First to go was the entry sensor on the 1st floor, hr. later water sensor in the basement and another entry sensor on the 1st floor and hr. later another entry sensor on the 1st floor went offline. All entry sensors come back online as soon as I open close the windows.
One of the sensor that went offline last night is 6 to 8ft from the base station with direct line of site.
I have had nothing but problems with the system and not exactly sure that to do next. I have talked to support resetting base station, etc. Removing and readding sensors is not an option considering that this has happened multiple times with random sensors.
Any help?

Yes, it's really annoying. Last night I had 6 sensors and 2 keypad that went offline. Every sensor came back online on their own other than the keypads.
Time to call support again.

Replacement base station on the way. Let's see if that helps.

This is the 3rd time in the last week that I wake up during the middle of the night. I can't with this system.
I have replaced the water sensor's battery with a new one, and I put it by the base station, and it still gets disconnected. This is so frustrating that I am considering sending everything back.

Last night I was awakened several times to my SimpliSafe system telling me it could not connect to certain sensors, Water, Entry, etc.. This is the new norm with the newer SimpliSafe System. For the last several months since upgrading my older system nothing but errors. The "Original" never had any problems except it could not be monitored because it lacked the upgrade module. I have to go to each device and reset the battery. What is more aggravating is trying to arm the system only to be denied because a sensor is not responding. I then have to find the sensor, correct the errors and then try again. Overall I would say the newer System needs improvements. If SimpliSafe is monitoring their logs and email traffic then this problem is already known to them as nightmare for its customers.
