Microphone permission needed

I have two cameras; one outdoor, one indoor. I receive audio on app, but when I press the microphone, I receive message "microphone permission needed. Simplisafe needs your permission to record audio to send to your camera." when I check iphone settings, it indicates no permissions have been requested by simplisafe.

@safraout​ thank you for the info. Are you the same person as @safrastandto ?

And have you already tried just uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your phone? If you get a prompt asking you to enable Notifications, make sure to Allow.

iphone: iOS 15.5, iPhone Xr

indoor camera software: v2.6.2.126

Is this what you need? By the way, the tablet works fine. I only have problems with the phone....could be me.

Reinstalled app, but it’s still asking for permission.
