Home automation integration

I am looking for a way to integrate my SS system with my home automation system (ISY994) so I can control lights and routines when an alarm event is triggered and when the alarm is set to "Away".  I have seen post where others have hacked an external siren with an external relay however I have not seen a schematic with a dry contact closure.  The latter is to activate a routine that would only be enabled when the alarm is set to "Away" which could be used for basic control of home equipment (air conditioners, etc...).    Would like to see development of a dry contact closure from SS with these programming features.
