Change email address

Simplisafe uses email address as account ID.  Has anyone found a way to change this to a different email address?  Is it necessary, or even possible, to create a new account and transfer existing monitored equipment?

Log in on your computer.  On Account page, change email address and save.

This response is correct. You'll want to log into your SimpliSafe account from a web browser, here

Once you're logged in, navigate to Menu > Manage Account, and the option to change the email we have on file for you will be on that page.

The email is on the page but there is no option to change it.

@pabloj2022​ are you logging into your online account through a web browser? The option is available on the web, but not the SimpliSafe app.

@davey_d​  I am logged in at simplisafe.com on my computer and web browser and manage account. The email/user name is there.  There is no option to change this to at all.
