New App layout brings easier access to System Settings
A refreshed navigation is rolling out now for the SimpliSafe® app on iOS and Android. The My System panel is now a tab at the bottom of the screen, alongside Cameras, Timeline, and the Overview page.
Once you get to the My System tab, you’ll have access to all of the settings for a given protected location. Here are just some of them:
Location Settings - for options related to your Protected Location, such as address and emergency contacts
Base Station Settings - formerly named “General Settings”, for options like siren and voice prompt volume, and countdown timers
Device Settings - individual options for your Sensors, Keypads and Key Fobs, and Sirens
Alerts & Notifications - including Push Notifications through the app, SMS text messages, and emails (with a qualifying Monitoring Plan).
Settings that affect your whole account can still be found under the three-bar Menu on the top left.
Of course, our Help Center has also been updated with the latest info. So if there’s a particular setting that you’re looking for, we’ll have a guide for you there!

I noticed I will get a little red mark on my app. When I click to see what it is referring to I’m usually clueless. Is it possible to have it so the app show you what the alert is?

When is an update going to include a place to enter a code to unlock the app. Right now ANYONE can click on the app and see everything about the account like who lives there, the system pass code, etc. Now I'm going to have to lock down my whole phone because of this update. How many people have to ask before this finally gets done.
PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

All the devices on same page is ok, but not state of the art. You still have to individually click each one to change settings. With all the devices an average home has it’s shocking there is no way to group devices. I don’t want certain entry points on instant trigger during day but when I go to bed I do. So I have to go into each one every night and change it only to reverse the next morning. Grouping and scheduling groups to activate can’t be that difficult. Smart routers have been doing it for years. Please add this soon as one by one selections is so archaic

Please put time for events back on the timeline overview page. Huge PIA trying to find a specific event….
At the least make it an option to have or not have visible.

Please make the timestamp font bigger. It’s tiny and no one can see it anymore

I have a suggestion for future app update, it would be great to have one button that would temporarily shut down all outdoor camera motion detection. If I am working in my yard and don't want to be consistently notified about motion I now have to go into each camera to turn if off, then back on later. One button to turn them all off would be very helpful.

Device Settings no longer shows the status of devices. I have several devices that need batteries replaced, but that is no longer shown in “Device Settings.” Instead, all devices have a check mark by them regardless of their status. When I view individual devices, there’s still no indication the device isn’t operating.
