Will a room light switching on and off trigger motion senors
Want to add a light , in a room, that comes on at dusk and go off at a preset time. Will this trigger the motion senors when is in the AWAY mode?

Hi @yunng3 ,
The Motion Sensor works by detecting infrared - that is, sources of heat. But that source of heat needs to be moving around in the room. So unless your lights are on pendants and swinging around, it's unlikely that they'll trigger the sensor.

@yunng3 I have 8 motion sensors, with four in rooms with lights that turn on at dusk and no issues.
