Event though I have gone into my settings and turned off the entry chime, it continues to chime as always. This is the original Simplisafe system.

Are you attempting to make this change through the SimpliSafe app? If so, the app might be having trouble connecting to your Base Station. We'd suggest giving our Support team a call at 800-548-9508 and we can troubleshoot.
