Reinstall Entry Sensors to New Windows???
Hi:
Need some advice. We had a bunch of new windows put in. The installers left the SimpliSafe Entry sensor pairs (magnet and device) from the old windows so I don’t need new SimpliSafe Entry sensor pairs, but am wondering how best to reattach these to the new windows? Should I use something like Gorilla Glue? Or do you all offer adhesives that will work? Any and all thoughts on how best to proceed would be most welcome.
Thank you very much!

They're typically stuck on with 3M Command strips, double sided stickys.
Dollar General, Lowes, Home Depot, hardware stores, Ace etc. Or research it a little and buy a roll of 3M double sided tape on Amazon with more strength. Or even extreme 3M tape etc.
Mine is about 3/8 wide and I cut length to suit, 1 on magnet, 2 on sensor if desired.
Prep. Clean mounting surface even if already clean with 50/50 water - isopropyl alcohol, dry with a cloth, after dry, prepare tape or command strip, and press fairly hard for 30 seconds for each magnet and sensor.
May be a pain to remove down the road, some folks have luck with tooth floss. Command strips are supposed to be pull to release.🤷
I have some on vinyl windows 19 months, haven't fallen off yet with factory tape. One did, but might have been me.

Info for anyone else doing this:
The "Small" 3M Command strips work great for the transmitter unit of the entry sensors:
But they are too big for the magnet unit of the entry sensors. I just ordered the "mini" 3M Command strips and will see how they work.
Does anyone know if SimpliSafe offers the entry units in brown or black colors? It's purely aesthetic, but it would match many doors/windows better than white ones.
