I have cats that like to climb so what I did was turn the sensor upside down in the holder. it worked for me, will pick up a human but not my pets.

We have a 9 lb dog. I put the sensor on with the button on top and sensitivity on medium.

Hi @john_2672364 - Welcome to the Community!
On our installation guide, we've created a short video that demonstrates how to install the motion sensors when you have pets.
For small pets, it's recommended that you place the sensor 6-10 feet off the ground with the button on the top.
For larger pets, it's best to place the sensors upside down (button on the bottom) around 4 feet up. This will ensure that the sensor is only looking straight out and up to capture human movement versus pet movement.
Let me know if you have any questions, or need any further assistance.
