Open entry sensor notification on keypad

I had three window sensors open today (which I was aware of) when I was setting the alarm in away mode. I noticed there was a symbol on the keypad with the number three. I hit the right arrow on the keypad and was able to scroll through the three open sensor location names. I then set the alarm two additional times during the day and did not see open sensor warnings even though the windows were still open. Why did the system not warn me each and every time I went to set the alarm?

Hi @JoeBas,

When arming the system with an open Entry Sensor, the Base Station will verbally announce that a sensor is open, but a warning will not display on the Keypad. Once an Entry Sensor is opened, a notification will display on the Keypad, though. When you set your alarm that first time and saw the warning that three Entry Sensors were open, it might've been from when they were initially opened.

Ok, so everytime I try to set the alarm with any sensors open, the system will verbally tell me? The speaker on my base station was no longer working so I did not hear anything verbally. I have since gotten a replacement but have been unable to test it with open sensors.

@JoeBas Correct, when you arm your system with an open Entry Sensor, the Base Station will give a verbal warning. If you arm your system again with an open sensor and your new Base Station doesn't announce it, please let me know!
