Multiple sensors triggered at same time
We are out of town, 3 hours away...... Living room motion sensor (not near rear door), rear door entry and garage (separate bldg) entry sensors all triggered at same time. No activity seen on living room camera. Sheriff investigated and found no signs of forced entry. I could see how cat may have triggered motion sensor but not how both entry sensors remote from each other could have been triggered simultaneously. After reviewing outdoor camera footage a very brief flash of light could be seen after the sensors were triggered...... Maybe lightning but I don't see how all 3 sensors could be triggered by that...... Since similar events seem to have happened to other simplisafe customers, I hope they are looking into possible causes and solutions

@fjtrupo Only one thought: if there was a very loud clap of thunder, it could have rattled windows and set off the motions and entry sensors. One evening about 2 years ago a neighbor's house was actually struck by lightening about 3 houses away and our house shook like a bomb had landed nearby. The alarm went off with multiple sensors tripped. All cameras (doorbell pro and 3 simpliscams on the first floor) all showed nothing and I was outside in a heavy rain to see if my house had been hit. That's when I saw my neighbor with another next door neighbor pointing to his roof and cell phone in hand calling 911. If you review your streaming, and had your privacy guards open, if may have caught any thunder. Possibly a long shot, but something to consider.

@fjtrupo how are those Entry Sensors set up? The only thing I can think of is that they might have been just on the border of the 2" range, so if the buildings shifted, that might have triggered them. But given that we're talking about two separate buildings, I don't think that's likely. I might need to request a call from a senior agent to investigate further.

Thanks for all your replies..... At the end of one of the videos from my outdoor camera there was a very brief flash of light...... I have to investigate the timeline further but it may indeed have been thunder and lightning
