motion sensors

Out building motion sensor has been setting alarm off the last 2 nights. Could of been a mouse. So I turned the motion sensor upside down to try to help. Anyway my time line is showing that my motion sensor inside of house was tripped also. But it is only set to trip in away mode and it is showing it tripped in home mode. My other motion sensors do not show they are triggered. I have been having trouble with my sensors signal strength, and I did the antenna modification on some sensors in out buildings, and it helped dramatically. I would like to keep simplisafe , but my patience are running thin.

Hi @chapman3 ,

I would caution that turning the Motion Sensor upside-down changes what it can view. Like so:

Sensor oriented normally, vs 'upside-down'

So if you want to have it oriented that way, you'll want to make sure that it can still catch a person walking into view at human height (usually by lowering the sensor to 4ft).

But as for the inside Motion Sensor triggering with an incorrect event - we'll have to dig deeper. Have you already been working with our Support team via chat or phone? It might be helpful to go through your Timeline event log with an agent.
