Motion sensor with pets
Hi
I have a labrador (32kg) and the motion sensor will be installed in a corner on the ceiling. Will the dog activate the motion sensor? I know the documentation suggests pets up to 15kg are ok but was wondering whether there are settings or workaround to avoid false alarms with a bigger dog around.

Forget about using the motion sensors if you've got pets bigger than a mouse!
We have two cats - 6kg and 4kg - and they constantly triggered the motion sensors in the middle of the night. After a month of moving sensors around the rooms, changing their heights, inverting them, etc., we gave up, returned them and replaced them with glass break sensors.
Very frustrating, as our old alarm system from the mid-90s never once had a false trigger with its motion sensors.
