Ideas for mounting on a garage door
Trying to figure how to mount an entry senor on the lower portion of the door. Wanting this since most break-ins this way happen by pushing in the lower part of the door. Have a 16ft wide extra heavy on a n opener but I do have a manual locks on it, they mount on the second section leaving the bottom free. I already put a motion senor in the garage but need something to show if the door is pushed opened. Any thoughts?

@astringernicholas1 search the forum and you will find posts on this. I have two garage doors, both using a door hinge with an SS entry sensor that works great! (BTW, not my idea, saw it on youtube). Another solution, much more elegant, is getting plastic mount hinge by a vendor over at Etsy. Incredibly inexpensive and brilliantly designed, I ordered two and will replace my door hinge solution this weekend. Send me a private message if you want a picture.

Thanks for the input, found it on the site. It works for an opening door and I'll get one but I'm looking for something to mount on the lower section and detect door being pushed in, off the track. Similar to a door swings open.
