How to add a pet for motion sensor

Pet Mode is a feature of the Motion Sensor Gen 2. You can find the setting in the SimpliSafe app:

1. Select the My System tab
2. Tap Device Settings
3. Tap your Motion Sensor
4. Under Motion Sensitivity, you can toggle the Pet Mode setting
5. Don't forget to hit Send to Base at the bottom of the page

If you don't have the Pet Mode setting available, you'll see this text instead:

Motion Sensitivity can be set on your sensor. Remove the back plate and adjust the sensitivity switch.

That means you have the Gen 1 Motion Sensor, which does not have Pet Mode available.
