Home mode & movement?

Can you have simplisafe in Home mode and get movement notifications for the video doorbell? Seems like home mode turns off movement notifications including the doorbell which is stupid?? I want to know if someone's coming up the driveway while I'm home.

@michellewhite1988, as KRStrick stated, if configured properly, you will get notifications in all three modes. Also suggest you use push notifications instead of SMS as they are received quicker and are more reliable.

I get movement notifications from the doorbell no matter what mode the alarm is in. In fact i don't even see a way to control this behavior.

The simplicam you can control the privacy shutter by alarm mode (and thus the motion detection)
