Entry Sensor "Open" chime over and over
I recently decided to open the windows and air out the house with SS "OFF". SS keeps "beeping" about the sensors being open, over and over. Seems a little silly to me. Is this normal behavior? It seems to slow down after a long while. I would think that one beep would be sufficient. I have not tried anything like rebooting, etc. I do not have the fancy monitoring option.

Sounds to me like you have the window open just enough that the sensor can still pick up the magnet - right around the 2-inch range. So the little tiny reed switch inside the sensor is wavering around between the open and closed positions. Is it possible to open your window even wider?
