Vacation Mode allows you to pause the Scheduled Arming of your SimpliSafe® system with a quick toggle of a button in the App. This feature ensures that your schedules remain intact, but are paused while you are away from your home or business. This means that your system will maintain the arming state that you set it to, and won’t arm or disarm on your schedule while you’re away. 

Additionally, when your system is in Vacation Mode, you will not be able to create any new arming schedules or edit your pre-existing ones.

To enable Vacation Mode:

1. Open the SimpliSafe® Mobile App

2. Navigate to the three-bar menu on the top left corner of the app

3. Select My System from the navigation menu

4. Choose “Scheduled Arming” at the bottom of the list

5. Scroll down to “Vacation Mode” and toggle the setting ON. 

When you are ready to resume your Scheduled Arming, simply toggle Vacation Mode off to resume the automated arming and disarming of your home.
