The SimpliSafe® App for Apple Watch works as a companion app, meaning it’s a remote control for the SimpliSafe® App on your iPhone. The app is automatically installed when you install the SimpliSafe® App to your iPhone when your phone is paired with an Apple Watch. In order for the app to work on your Apple Watch, your watch does need to be in range (approximately 30 feet) of your phone, as it relies on Bluetooth connectivity. You’ll also need to have the SimpliSafe® App recently opened on the phone. You won’t be able to use the companion app if your watch is on Wi-Fi or Cellular and your phone is not in range.

What does the companion app do?

The SimpliSafe® App for Apple Watch relays notifications from the iPhone and allows you to control basic features and functionality of your SimpliSafe® system at a quick glance.

• Easily Arm and Disarm your system from your Watch

• Allows you to control the last property that was selected and is being managed in the SimpliSafe® App

• If you need to manage another property from your Apple Watch, open the SimpliSafe® App and tap on the Home icon in the upper right corner to switch to a different location

• Allows you to Snooze Camera Notifications by tapping the notification

How to manage the companion app

To ensure that you are able to see the SimpliSafe® App on WatchOS, follow these steps:

1. Go to My Watch on your iPhone

2. Select Installed on Apple Watch

3. Choose SimpliSafe®

4. Ensure that Show App on Apple Watch is toggled to ON

To receive notifications from SimpliSafe® on WatchOS, follow these steps:

1. Go to My Watch on your iPhone

2. Select Notifications
