If you have our Fast Protect™ monitoring plan (formerly Interactive Monitoring), then you are able to set up reminders to arm your system in home or away mode.

To do so, please follow the below steps:

1. First, download the SimpliSafe® Mobile App if you don’t already have it

2. Choose My System from the bottom navigation bar

3. Select Automations, and then Arming Reminders

4. Select Continue

5. Choose the days and times when you want reminders

You’ll then start getting notifications on your phone when it’s time to switch system modes!

Converting an Arming Reminder into an Arming Schedule

If you have an arming reminder set up, and you arm your system directly from it, you will then be prompted to turn this arming reminder into an arming schedule. With scheduled arming turned on, your system will automatically arm and disarm following a set schedule so you don’t need to do it yourself! If you do not want to convert your arming reminder into an arming schedule, select “No” and the app will not prompt you to do it again. If you ever change your mind and you would like to turn it into an arming schedule, you will need to create this schedule and delete your arming reminders in the SimpliSafe® Mobile App. For more information on creating an arming schedule, see our Scheduled Arming for Your SimpliSafe® System article.
