The Keypad takes four (4) AA Alkaline batteries and has a life expectancy between 8-12 months depending on placement and usage.

To change your Keypad batteries, slide the device off its bracket and remove the battery. Then replace the four (4) AA batteries and return your Keypad to its bracket.
