Active Alarm Screen within the SimpliSafe® App


Active Alarm Screen is an optimized way to view active alarms occurring on your system for beta participants who are also enrolled in Fast Protect™. You must use the latest version of the SimpliSafe® Mobile App to access the beta program. You can check for updates to your app using your phone’s respective app store (Apple App Store, Google Play Store).

This new in-app screen will display critical information about the alarm that’s occurring, allow you to quickly access your cameras, and cancel the alarm or request emergency dispatch directly from the SimpliSafe® App.

How to Enable Active Alarm Screen?

Customers who subscribe to Fast Protect™ may be eligible to participate in the beta program for Active Alarm Screen. To participate you will need to use the SimpliSafe® Mobile App on an iOS or Android device. You will want to make sure that Push Notifications are enabled so that you can receive notifications if an alarm is triggered.

To sign up for the beta, follow these steps:

  1. Open the SimpliSafe® Mobile App and navigate to the three-bar menu in the upper left corner

  2. Choose SimpliSafe® Beta from the navigation menu

    1. SimpliSafe® Beta is only available in the Mobile App. The WebApp is not compatible with the program at this time.

  3. Tap the Active Alarm Screen program and follow the on-screen instructions to sign up 

If you wish to unenroll from Active Alarm Screen, simply visit the beta hub within the SimpliSafe® Mobile App, select the Active Alarm Screen program, and follow the on-screen prompts.
