How do I reset or change my password for my SimpliSafe account?

If you forget your password you can always reset it through the forgot password link on the Login Screen. You will be prompted to enter the email associated with your account. Then you will be sent an email with the subject line Replacement login information for (your email) at SimpliSafe. Use the link in the email to reset your password. Once you have reset the password, return to the login to access your account.

In the mobile app:

  1. Log in to the app using your current password, if you are not already

    1. If you are not logged in to the app and do not know your password, tap Forgot Password

    2. Follow the onscreen prompts to reset your password

  2. Select the three bar menu icon at the top left ≡

  3. Select Manage Account at the top of the menu

  4. Select Password

  5. Enter your current password in the top box, then enter your new password and confirm in the boxes below

  6. Make sure to tap Save in the top right before exiting

In the Web app:

  1. Log in to your online account

  2. Select View Account

  3. Select Change on the right side of your password

  4. Enter your current password in the top box, then enter your new password and confirm in the boxes below
