If you are looking for a security system that you can take with you whenever you move, SimpliSafe is the right system for you! Taking your system with you
When it's time to move, please contact our moving team at (888) 692-0229. They can help temporarily suspend your monthly monitoring service as you move the equipment to your new location.
Once you have reinstalled everything in your new home, simply reactivate your account with your new address by navigating to the location settings in your SimpliSafe app—and that’s it! We offer a free Mover’s Package to help ease your moving process.

Leaving your system for the next tenant
If you are looking to leave the system in the home for the next tenant, all you need to do is contact support and cancel the service. Once the service is canceled on your account, the new homeowner can create their own account and start their own service!
The new user will not be able to see your old account information. You can choose to change the names of your sensors before you leave the system, but it's not necessary.
*You can always update your address through your online account. Select Monitoring. Then click in the boxes to edit. Make sure to press the blue Save Changes box when done. Interactive Users can also update this information in the Location Profile section of the app.
