Some of the audible indications from the system are absolutely necessary, but a low battery signal should *never* wake me up at night by beeping, particularly if the system is off. The software could be enhanced to allow customization of these alerts. For example, I’d prefer alerts for non-urgent is

I do want to be informed about potential issues with the system, but not by being woken up. If I turn off the audible Trouble Signal, what sort of trouble notifications will I still receive?

I am getting really tired of getting a nuisance voice alert about a low battery in a sensor at midnight. It’s jarring to hear a voice in the middle of the night telling me about a low battery. The voice alerts really need a do not disturb feature for overnight

Nuisance alerts are dangerous because they accustom us to ignore all alerts. I no longer recommend SimpliSafe because it treats low battery conditions as middle-of-the-night emergencies. The devs really need to create some basic solution to this prob

The "sensor battery is low" notification can be incredibly annoying. The alert is handled like other alerts -- the base station chimes when a sensor battery is low.  At our house, it seems that such alerts always happen between 2 AM and 4 AM. Arrgh!   The most recent event was on Christma

This is a very big deal and should be treated as a high-priority fix. I’ve had my system for a couple of years now, and this is the single reason I no longer recommend SimpliSafe. Each of my 21 devices will consume its batteries periodically. Nuisanc

@captain11 Thanks! I'll try turning off the Voice Prompts, but this low battery condition showed up as a "Sensor Not Responding," and emitted a repeating chime. I don't see a setting to turn that off.

@ScottWF we do have an open request to create a Do Not Disturb setting for the Base Station's voice prompts with our devs, but we will submit your suggestion of customizing these alerts to the team as well.   If/when it is taken into developmen
