Camera recording constantly

I just looked through my camera logs and found out that the camera has been recording, basically constantly, for the last few days. Currently my system is set to "Off," and just this morning since I left for work (it isn't even lunch time), there have been 96 "Living Room Camera Motion Detected" notifications, with recordings, in my app. It's recording basically every 2-5 minutes which is super concerning, because it does this even when I'm home and the camera is set to Off, Home, or Away mode.

The log history looks like this for the past few days, and I know I've run the camera through a power cycle at least once since it's happened, so turning it off and back on again hasn't stopped it from recording.

I do have the camera set to record when there is an event (entry sensor opened, motion detected), but NOBODY is home and I don't have any pets, so there isn't anything that could be setting off the motion detector in the camera. I guess this can be verified by looking at all the recordings and seeing an empty place.

Is anybody else experiencing this issue? Has my camera been hacked? is there any way to stop this, besides just disconnecting my camera completely?

Be sure the privacy shutter is set to "Closed" in Off mode and usually too in Home.

Bear in mind the "motion sensor" is usually a heat sensor, sometimes a change in lighting sensor. If the camera points toward sources of heat or where there can be changes of light/contrast that could cause it.

Just a spur of the moment thought, maybe try putting a cardboard box over it. See if you still get all the alerts (after, of course, being sure the privacy shutter is set appropriately).

I also have a camera that records that there is motion.  I even turn the motion off and it still goes on until the battery dies usually.
