Doorbell Angle
My existing doorbell mounts inside the door frame. A photo of it can be seen here: https://imgur.com/fJ56zzS
The specs say the SimpliSafe Doorbell has a 162 degree field of view. Will it be able to see people standing in front of the door?
The web site references a left-right angle bracket, but support told me they only have a horizontal wedge kit.
I found some aftermarket solutions on eBay, but would prefer to either mount it flush or use a official solution to solve this problem.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi Tek,
The Wedge Kit is in fact for a left-right angle bracket (by horizontal, we mean side to side). But it only angles the unit at 15º.
If you're handy yourself, or are prepared to hire a professional, the best solution might be to rewire so that the wiring comes out on the outside of the frame - though I'm not sure if you have the space for that, just based on your picture.
