Alarm System Firmware 2.23 (December 2025)
Here's what's coming in 2.23:
- Improvements to the OTA firmware update process for the Base Station. Historically, whenever the system had a firmware update available, the update would install 10 minutes after you had disarmed your system into Off Mode. Now, if an update is available, it will install right away if you system is disarmed in Off Mode.
- Changes to the Trouble Signal and Voice Prompt notifications, as indicated in the chart below:

You will be notified via the Keypad, SimpliSafe® Mobile App, and push notifications*.
The Base Station will also notify you via voice prompts whenever the system's armed state is changed. |
*Push notifications will be sent depending on your notification settings.
