New Feature in "ConnectionCheck" tool
I used the connection check tool yesterday for the first time in awhile to assess the connection quality of my 4th Smart Alarm camera. All was good but did catch my eye was the "confirming you are connected to the best mesh point". Nice feature especially for my router and 3 point mesh system. I went back to my two outdoor cameras and did see where one of them did switch from one point to another.
Again, nice! Well done.

Too much bourbon on that ship?😉
It's been there a while and is just marketing fluff. IMHO. 😮😲
When I asked months ago I got no answers.
Of course no answers for me is normal.
It does show a little bit of evidence of no connections issue on your end though. Which is good.
Wi-Fi devices, including cameras, autonomously select the access point they connect to based on signal strength and roaming protocols (e.g., 802.11k/v/r if supported).
While the app may suggest or possibly even temporarily force a reconnect, the ultimate decision lies with the device. True optimization would require firmware-level control over AP selection, which most consumer devices, including theirs, do not support.
