$200 Referral Issues - multiple times
It appears to me that SimpliSafe does everything in their power to NOT pay these referrals. I had a friend ask me about my system (which I do like the system), so I told him about this referral thing and that he could get the new system discount. I sent him the referral through the website, and he completed everything that he needed to do. The only caveat to that is that he had me send the referral to his work email and he ended up registering the order under his personal email, as he is approaching retirement. I checked on the referral 10 days ago, and was told that I was eligible and got the canned response that it was being escalated and I'd hear back in 5-7 days. Again, nothing since. So I reached out today and now I am being told that it is "invalidated" since he ended up using a different email. HE CLICKED ON THE LINK IN THE EMAIL and got the new customer referred discount and everything. The agent that I was speaking to was going to transfer me to his "supervisor" at HIS request, and then the line became disconnected. I called them back, had to explain everything AGAIN. Now I am waiting another 5-7 days. A little over a year ago, I referred my son, I told him that I'd give him the GC to help offset the cost. He did everything "by the book". I had to check multiple times on that one as well. While they did come through on THAT one, it took a LOT of time and aggravation. I think they play these games on purpose.

Hey there @Thosmer just wanted to let you know I checked with the gift card distribution team.
Gift Card was sent on 1/6/26 and re-sent 1/9/26. It would have came from Tremendous our Gift Card distributor. It was sent to the email address you use to sign in to your app.
