Any updates on this? My house currently has smoke detectors that are hardwired and interconnected. This is required by code here in Honolulu. The current detectors are aging out and need to be replaced. Can your detectors be used? The integrate would be helpful during the replacement.
@clarkjacks at this time, we are only able to offer wireless units. They can be installed alongside your existing wired smoke detectors, to connect with the Monitoring Service. But cannot be used as a replacement if wired units are required.
We have a pending request for Wired Smoke Detectors here. Unfortunately, the request is not currently in the works.
