Smart Lock connection lost in recent firmware update

Don't know whether it was a base station update, or a lock update, but our lock stopped communicating with the base station.  We'd open the lock with the external pad, and it would unlock, but the alarm would not disarm.  Ended up having to do the reset, delete the lock, add it back, and recalibrate.  Have had the lock for years.

Just to double-check, you opted to reset your Smart Lock and re-add to your system. Was that successful?

I’ve had issues with my lock for several months now. My lock gives error messages through the base station when setting the alarm and I through the app. I have done everything from resetting my devices, updating software, replacing my base station, and replacing my lock. Nothing has worked. I’m at the point that I’m looking at alternative alarm systems.
