I walked out my backdoor and when I shut it I heard the door lock. I checked it and I was locked out. Why did my simplisafe door lock automatically when I don't even have it set to auto lock until alarm is set?
Did you ever get an answer to your question? I have the smart lock, but it has never locked me out like that. I was just curious what you were told.
I have 2 issues with my lock: 1 - a minor one which is the lock sometimes fails to open when I turn the alarm off, and 2 - occasionally I get repeated lock/unlock notifications until I manually operate it several times to make it stop. Once it did it all night long since I did not notice it, and I got hundreds of text notifications.
