Vertical Image Option for Doorbell Camera

I request a doorbell camera that shows vertical oriented video. For my doorbell camera I need to see both 1) the ground (to see packages) and 2) people’s faces. I don't need to see the walls to the left and right. Currently my SimpliSafe doorbell camera video is horizontal, so I see neither of the things I need to see because the face of a person standing at the door is above the horizontal field of view, and the ground is below the horizontal field of view.

I know I can use the tool that angles the camera down or up, but then I’d see even less of one or the other essential things I need to see. The best solution is for the doorbell camera to have a vertical field of view instead of horizontal. Or at least this should be an option that is offered.

I hear Nest offers this, so I know it’s possible. SimpliSafe: please develop this essential option as soon as you can. Thank you.

*Note: It can't just be a digital cropping of the existing camera sensor's field of view. No. The sensor must be turned vertical, so it's actually capturing the above and below that the wide angle lens is capable of aiming at the sensor. This would mean the physical doorbell camera would be different from the standard horizontal option that exists now. A user would be presented with this new option on the website, and could order the vertical camera if, like me, it's more important for them to see people's faces and packages on the ground.

Thanks again!
