Phone App Learning Center: A good start

A friend of mine just installed their new system and said the "Learning Center" in the app was helpful. I had to admit I never looked at it but now that I have, would agree it is a nice intro to the SS3 system, but do have a few suggestions:

*The objective of a good Learning Center is to keep it as brief as possible and be straight forward in the steps to achieve an outcome. The exception is when you are doing this to make sure it is "real world" and reality.

Let me give two examples: under the section of "What happens when your alarm goes off" it states there is a 30 second delay.....that is correct, unless you have all of your intrusion sensors on "Instant trigger" like mine, except for one entry door. This is no minor detail and I posted in another thread a neighbor who had a SS2, now a SS3 system for over 10 years and never knew instant trigger existed.

Another example: "Your motion sensors are off in home mode so you and your family can move around your home when the system is set to home mode", again true, unless all of the motion sensors on the first floor, like mine, are armed in home mode.

And a significant part of this material is based upon you having an official SimpliSafe monitoring plan.  For clear disclosure, the "Learning Center" should preface, prominently, "Content is based on standard out of the box configuration and the customer subscribing to and maintaining a SimpliSafe monitoring plan of Core or higher."  I am confident your well paid legal staff will come up with something a bit more elegant.
