Lose WiFi in winter

We've been frustrated with the original camera with weather sleeves (as when we purchased, the outdoor camera was not available) because every time it gets very cold , the camera disconnects from the WiFi.  I understand this happens, but I need the camera high enough to see anything and prevent theft of the camera, which means that I need to climb the ladder to take them down physically reset them.  Therefore a good chunk of the year, the cameras are useless. Plus, I need to contact my ISP to allow me access to the 2 G WiFi network and only have one hour to get them down, reset them , and get them placed again. Is there a way to not have to climb the ladder every time they go offline?

@Theisenfamily4 in order to reset the SimpliCam, you do need to physically be with the camera to press and hold its pairing button. Unfortunately, there is no other way to reset the camera.

There are a few other troubleshooting steps you could take to help the SimpliCam re-connect to WiFi, like rebooting the router and moving the router a little closer to the device.

I personally have never heard of any of simplisafe cameras loosing wifi because it got cold, I have a variety of them, I have indoor cameras with the wet suit, indoor smart alarm cameras, video doorbell, the og outdoor cameras and even the new version 2 outdoor camera and it got down to 18 degrees last night and all of them have been going strong and definitely not loosing wifi. Sounds like something else is going on with your internet provider or wifi issues.
