Indoor Camera Option to Rotate the Camera View
I have 3 SimpliCams, one of which is located in my garage hanging upside down (it just fits the space better that way). It would be nice if I had an option to rotate the camera's view from within the SimpliSafe app. Right now I have to look at the image upside when cycling through all my SimpliCams, or I have to rotate my phone when I get to that particular camera. Adding this feature wouldn't be difficult for the software developers to implement at all.
PS - Not sure if this has been asked before, I apologize if it has... (didn't there use to be a search function in the forums???)

Ugh yes this really needs to be a software update for the indoor cameras as well!

Commenting for posterity as I, too, would love this feature, although I don't think a "fix" is coming anytime soon. I was hoping with the new indoor cameras, that they would just have this, but I think it's even less likely with the new camera feature set.
Allowing end users to rotate the camera view could be seen as tacit endorsement for alternative installation methods. There are two problems with this, the two way speaker and motion detection, the latter being the bigger issue. I'm sure the AI model doing the people recognition was trained on data sets of people walking on the floor, and the accuracy plummets if the sensor recorded people "walking on walls/ceiling" as it might seem with an alternate install.
With the potential implications of a failed security device being life or death, SimpliSafe is strongly disincentivized to even appear to endorse or facilitate an installation which could possibly degrade the efficacy of the product. Our ~20 or so complaints over 5 years certainly isn't going to move any needles.
Hopefully it will be an included feature with the indoor 3 or, even better, hopefully I'm completely wrong and an update with this feature drops imminently, but I don't think I am.
