Entry Sensor Announcements Upgrade Suggestions
I have used ADT for 11 years. I recently switched to Simplisafe and it is very user friendly compared to ADT.
However, I have the following suggestions:
Announcements:
1. The annoucement does not announce Exact Sensor Name.
For example: When I open Office 1 or Office 2, I do get announcement "Office Entry Sensor Open". It does not tell me if it was Office 1 or Office 2.
2. There is no announcement when the opened sensor (door/window) is closed.
3. "Entry Sensor" in the announcements
For example: When I open Office 1 or Office 2, I do get announcement "Office Entry Sensor Open". I mean, the announcement "Office 1" or "Office 2" would ne sufficient. The word "entry sensor" in each announcement after announcing the name of the sensor is redundant.
Simplisafe Thermostat controled through Simplisafe App would be perfect (not linked to Google Nest or any other app).
I look forward to hearing from you and I hope see some of the suggestions on annoucement in next software ugrades.

When posting a product/feature request, we please ask to make one post per request—that way we can track each individual request.
We already have existing product requests in the Community for an announcement when an Entry Sensor is closed and a Smart Thermostat; but if you could please split up the first and third request into their own posts, I can forward them over to our devs.
