Customize functions per PIN

It would be nice if I could set a PIN where I could control what functions and devices/locks that pin could manipulate and have it for either single use (think currier service) or for a specific timeline (think long-term visiting guest).

Hi @Eric_Curnes, 

Thanks for this suggestion! We do have Custom PINs which allows you to disarm your system, but there is no timeline setting for it where that PIN would automatically be deleted after a set amount of time. 

We'll send this idea to our dev team for their consideration.

@emily_s​ I know about the custom PIN, but that basically just adds another PIN with no customization. 

I'm talking about a PIN that I could customize which locks it can and can’t control. I.e. it could unlock my front gate, but nothing else so my packages could be safely delivered. 

It would be very helpful to be  able to customize what the PIN can do and if it can disable the alarm, as well as a time setting from 24 hours and up.

Alarm.com has these features. Multiple pins with the choice to have it work only during a certain time and the choice of it working with specific locks and or the alarm itself. We certainly need more than four pins, especially if the ads SS runs specifically mention multiple pins for cleaning people, dog walkers, kids etc. Not enough pins. Not enough choice of what the pins control.

Highly suggest:

More than 4 maximum Custom PINs. 10 would be reasonable.

Scheduled expiring or periodic (eg weekly on Thursdays btw 0800-1200h) PINs

I would personally love to see Guest pins that makes it unable to disarm alarms in progress (Panics glass breaks and/or selected sensors).

It be great if we had the ability to have guest codes with limited functionality. For example, a panic alarm cannot be disabled by a guest and neither can alarms in progress or for selected triggered sensors.

Hey Everybody,

It will be great if we can activate a pin just during specific periods (like Friday morning for my housekeeper or Monday to Friday for my pet sitter).
