Upgrading from Original SimpliSafe to the New SimpliSafe System

I have just purchased a new SimpliSafe system to replace the original SimpliSafe system currently in use. What will I need to do to swith the account over to the new system and what, if anything, will I need to do about the professional monitoring? The monitoring is already setup with my police and fire contacts, etc. Is there something I must do when the new system is active and the old one disconnected?

It's a very easy transition. Just follow the directions and your new SS3 system will be up and running in no time.

You might need to call them and have them take the serial number off that account and put the new base station number in and go from there but i could be wrong as i have the ss3 and not familiar with ss2 or switching over systems.

When I added the SS3 base station, it automatically removed my SS2 system from my account. It also automatically added all of SS3 components except maybe the smoke detector. I think I had to add the smoke detector manually.
