If you have SS2, it might be a recent alarm (or power outage, even if it was just a short power surge). Check your timeline of events for any indications of a power outage or recent alarm.
To clear a recent alarm, just go to your keypad, arm the system, wait a moment, then disarm it. Your base station light should return to normal. If this doesn't resolve the issue, call SS and troubleshoot for connection problems.
