Monitoring Service includes Warranty
I called to cancel my full monitoring service and learned when cancelling your service it cancels the warranty. I moved to self monitoring and learned that this moves the warranty to a 1-year. Just thought I would share what I learned.

You're correct. Or to put it another way, by default, all SimpliSafe hardware is covered under a 1-year Warranty (from the time of purchase). If you subscribe to the Fast Protect Monitoring Plan, one of the benefits you'll get is a lifetime warranty that is active for as long as you're subscribed. So if you reactivate on the Fast Protect Plan, the warranty will reactive as well.
That being said, even if your products are outside of warranty, our Customer Service team is still more than happy to continue providing support and assistance!
