Question about testing my system

Is there an easy/quick way to test my system?  Usually I "volunteer" one of my kids to stand by the base station and tell me what it says while I open and close every window, clap for each glass break sensor, etc.  It only takes about 20-30 minutes, but some of my sensors are more difficult to reach.

@mdolfan if you have and use the phone app, open it and on the home screen swipe down. It kicks off a system wide check and if something is wrong (non responding sensor, one the base couldn't reach, low battery etc, it will tell you.  I do it daily, however, do a full manual test like you once every quarter.

Hey mdolfan,

One quick tip for you. As you might know, the Base Station has backup batteries, which can last for up to a day in case of power outages. So that should be plenty of time, and you can unplug and take the Base Station with you around the house - no mini-assistants required!
