@cohemm Use the link below and compare the picture to your base. You should be able to tell right away. Still have questions? Call support and they will be more than happy to assist. Happy Holidays!

Please note the sensors for each SS2 and SS3 are NOT compatible. If you have the older SS2 suggest you ask SS supoprt how you can upgrade. No harm, no foul just asking!

As mentioned by Captain11, the alarm sensors page on our website will show you what Gen 3 and Original SimpliSafe devices look like. We also have this article in our Help Center to help you pinpoint which version of the SimpliSafe system you have.
The new Smart Alarm Wireless Indoor Security Camera is only available with Gen 3 systems, but if you have an Original system you can upgrade it for 60% off! For more information on upgrades, visit this Help Center article.
