Camera Issues - Is it just me?

I have four indoor cameras.  I have had them since 2019 - 2020.  One of them refuses to connect to the system.  If I plug it in, it flashes red for a while and then yellow and then red again.  I unplugged it about six months ago because I got sick of listening to the cover opening and closing.

In the last week, I have another camera doing the same thing.  The only difference is that it will stay connected for a while between times where it disconnects and shows the flashing red/flashing yellow issue.

Is anyone else having issues with cameras?  I’m not sure what to do with this.

I feel like my system is slowly tanking.  I get more and more disconnects of various sensors and almost constant “side door smart lock not responding”.  I’ve been dealing with that issue off and on for years now and it has become a lot more constant.

If I hadn’t sunk so much money into this system, I’d be looking elsewhere.  But here we are.

@usmaak Hi, welcome back. Nice to see another long time user, but not for the reason of your post.  I have 4 of the SA indoor cameras and they are all working fine, just like my 2 OD and doorbell cameras. That said, going to try and swing for the fences first on this one for an easy HR. Maybe.  

  1. SS3 system?
  2.  Are you on Core or above monitoring?
  3. If yes to both, call support, go through the troubleshooting and if not solved, ask for the cameras to be replaced at no charge under the life time warranty.

One further comment: If the cameras in question are Simplicams, I wouldn't bother and just toss them.

I didn't add of all of the usual WIFI checks or with the base as you are a pro. :-)
