MATTER: Why this standards effort "matters" for the future of Smart Home...and Simplisafe

​Below is a link to an excellent article on the MATTER initiative and how (at least in theory) they are attempting to have  IoT devices work together. More significantly is that Simplisafe is a member of the group. One can only speculate, and hope, what this means for the future product direction of Simplisafe.​
