Powering doorbell camera?
I want to add a doorbell camera. i don't have an existing doorbell. I can add a power transformer and wiring. Do I have to have a chime? What is the minimum voltage required? Is an inductive or resistive load required?

Hi @cgrempler,
The Video Doorbell Pro does require existing doorbell wiring, a transformer with 8-24VAC, 10-30VA, and a mechanical chime to act as a resistor—the Video Doorbell Pro is not compatible with digital chimes.
