Not receiving push notifications from doorbell camera / Alarm

Install went smoothly and all seems in order except I'm not getting any push notifications from the doorbell, motion detection , or alarm arming.
I have the i-phone 8 and have all the camera settings set to send notifications, but nothing. I did notice that if I go to my Notifications menu on my phone settings, and scroll down it shows notification settings for all app's yet the SimpliSafe Icon is not listed among these app's????
Any have a fix for this?

Also not receiving push notifications from SimpliSafe (SS) Doorbell for motion or activating the doorbell button.  The SS Doorbell indicates blue indicating motion, the doorbell rings when pushed, but no motion or doorbell alerts on my phone.

Yes, I too have an iPhone (latest one) and have checked my Notification menu and SS app is not listed.  I see the activity on my Timeline in the app but still no push notification.   I deleted the app and reinstalled and no change. All appears to be working except the notifications.

How do I resolve this?

I can't seem to get good information on what the issue is , but I suspect that I have been dealt the old bait and switch. I signed up for the $15 monitoring. My guess is now the reason for the lack of push notifications is that I must be on the $25 per month monitoring program, something that was not made clear when I purchased the doorbell camera.

Does anyone know if this is correct, I have to upgrade the monitoring ?

no- don't need to upgrade monitoring to get notifications.  I WAS getting them but had to reinstalll the doorbell and now I am no longer getting notifications ..... and we HAVE the upgrade to monitoring.
I was getting the notifications PRIOR to having upgraded monitoring .

I'm on the $25 plan and I don't get push notifications. I'm checking my cameras via the app damn near every hour to ensure everything is okay. It sucks when you pay for something and can't get your moneys worth because I bought over $600 worth of SimpliSafe products to ensure I was properly covered.

Generally, I have been happy with my SS system.  The first doorbell I had worked great.  I could be out on the dock and I would receive a push notification of motion at the door, video and conversation if desired.

After a year or so, the doorbell camera stopped working.  SS sent me a replacement that I installed.  Everything works, but no Push Notifications like the earlier one did.  SS also sent me a new Verizon based module to replace the T-Mobile one, and that went without a hitch.  SS shows up in the phone notifications menu, and that is enabled.

SS has tried to help, but they cannot yet put their finger on any problem.  It all looks perfect from their end.  I am thinking about disabling the whole system and reinstalling it, not that that would do any good.

Any Ideas???

I was getting notifications but had to disable and reinstall for another reason and now I am NO LONGER rec'ing the notifications despite having it all enabled.  So frustrated w/ this system!  Just installed an indoor camera so hoping we are happier w/ that purchase.

Same problem here. No push notifications and camera barely records. I have $25 subscription and WiFi dedicated only to doorbell.
Every video fails saying it's a connection problem. The extender is literally three feet from doorbell and the doorbell is the only device On it. This is the second doorbell since December.

WIFI extenders can be a problem if not setup properly.  Most people don't understand how they work and not all are created equal.  Maybe your doorbell has a great signal from the extender, but does the extender have a good signal from the main router?  I'm guessing not considering your doorbell didn't have a good signal to start with so you put an extender 3 feet from it.  Therefore your extender is likely suffering from the same problem.  Imagine an Olympic relay race where the 2nd runner is Usain Bolt, but the first runner is Oprah.  Are they going to break any speed records?  Your extender needs to have a good strong and clean signal in order to pass on a good strong and clean signal.

I've been having the same issue. Just called technical support and they told me there are no push notifications for the video doorbell, you are only able to check the timeline. Seems wrong to me. How am I going to communicate with someone at my door if I'm not notified that they are there??
