Motion Notifications stopped working
Motion Notifications are on for the doorbell and outside camera.
They just aren't working.
Outside Camera is 1.7 Version Firmware and doorbell is 2.6.

The only notifications I receive now is when the alarm is turned off or on.

When I updated my iPhone to a 14Pro I stopped receiving outdoor camera motion detection notifications. I checked and rechecked settings with no success. I then deleted the Simplisafe app from my iPhone and re-installed it via the App Store. The app install will ask you to allow notifications. Once I replied to allow notifications, I immediately began receiving motion detection notifications on my iPhone.

Thanks for that info cook. No one from simplisafe can solve the problem.
I hate to reinstall, but I'll try it, cause it hasn't worked for some time.
I need to notifications when they happen. not after the fact.

Tried the reinstall, still doesn't work. My doorbell hasn't picked up any motion in months, but you get a clear view looking. Signal and connection is good. I'm starting to think it is time for a new service. No sense in adding cameras or sensors to a system that doesn't even work after a few years.
Just saw a message that the cellular module needs replaced in Gen 3 systems after tomorrow.
How many people don't know this and that their system is useless without this upgrade to contact the authorities?
Wow!
So disappointed in Simplisafe customer service. Non existent, but they take that monthly fee even though you are unaware it isn't even functional.

@darondyer we have been proactively communicating about the 2G Sunset and the free upgrade for the better part of this year, but it's more urgent now that we're hitting the deadline at year's end.
It's important to note, however, that the cellular module built into the Base Station affects only the communication between the Base Station and the SimpliSafe service (and if your system is connected to WiFi, it will connect to that as well, so the cell connection only acts as backup).
The Cameras link up with monitoring directly through WiFi, so the cell module is not involved in that at all.
But in response to your original issue, so sorry to hear that it's still ongoing. It's important that we pinpoint exactly where the issue is for you. Do you have recordings enabled for your cameras? And if so, are those recordings still appearing on your Timeline?
If recordings are still happening, then that indicates that the issue is with Push Notifications on your phone.
If recordings are not happening, then it's possible that your cameras are actually not triggering by motion at all. We'll want to troubleshoot each camera separately to make sure they're working properly.

I did actually get a notification today from the doorbell after I switched it to all motion and not just people. The new Camera above the garage rarely misses anything, but still no notifications.
I'm thinking this might be a compatibility issue with my gen 3 base station and the new camera. I can live with that.

@darondyer ah! So I might have been right, and the Video Doorbell Pro had not been catching anything at all. Glad to hear that you were able to figure out a way to get notifications working again.
As for that Outdoor Camera - there are two different connections to troubleshoot. The video recordings are sent directly through your home's WiFi. Since it sounds like recordings are indeed going through, we don't need to worry about that part.
But the notifications require that the Outdoor Camera links with the Base Station, through the same kind of wireless communication that your sensors use. It sounds like where the Outdoor Camera is currently located, that signal is being blocked or delayed by environmental factors.
If possible, it might help to move your Base Station closer to that camera, to allow for easier communication.
